Forget D.A.R.E and make a bunch of grade school and middle school and maybe even some High school kids watch this. Along with stuff like train spotting. I wont be suprised if i sleep like hell and have fucked up scary ass dreams from watching that movie...
1:09pm: Had slightly fucked up dream that was heading for bad then my alarm went off and woke me from it so i could get back to sleep.. I'm glad i'm too lazy to turn my alarm off for the weekends. I dont rember the dream but i rember on set of panic and fear, not good..

6:10pm: Alright folks. I've been thinkin. I'm gonna need input and info, opinions, insight, feelings, anything... So here we go. Ok this section (Kala's page, Sigh's page, Kristina's Movie review, This page and my Pictures) of the site is hosted well here in my room on a slightly slow laptop. I want to take this section and move it to a off site host. An off site host would provied a domain name so we would have a real domain rather than this IP address crap, making the site easyer to find. We would also get e-mail addersses @ourdomainname.somethin ... Not to mention speed increase. This could also mean more pages for more people (AHEM Shad). Just 2 downsides. One transfer of the Databases that our pages are stored in prolly wouldnt work (cause now we all have seperate DBs and we would have to use one). But we could keep using moveable type we would just have to start from scratch again. The other down side is money, its gonna cost. But not much. I found some really good deals on hosting. But as this is a group/community site i thought we could get everyone to pitch in and get setup. Then once our balance is low we anti upagain again and the more members the less often or less we have to pay. Lemme know what you all think. ask questions. etc...

Moneys tight with me but I could budget a domain purchase into my funds. Maybe you could get some more details on what the other benifits are (in laymans terms please)and what we would need to do to get it setup, because unfortunately I'm not as computer savy as I'd like to be...
I hope that movie helps Dendran, I really do, but can a movie really motivate someone to get off drugs? I'm sure he'll just give excuses like, "well yeah if you let it get out of hand" of course I havn't seen it.

I would do a gateway type page. With just links to our indvidual pages. A comunal page that we can all just go nuts with posting news or information or whatever we want.
I figured the upside to having the contributers pay is that they are paying so they will more likely to use and post. Add new user get $10 towards the hosting funds. When hosting funds are low we just all anty up again. Hosting costs would be be depenednt on how much data we send out of and store on server. it is $.01 per meg of storrage and $1.00 for a gig of transfer and $0.02 per day for DNS ($7.30a year). So lets say we go ape shit and flood the site with 100megs of data that=$1 the we transfer 5gigs(not very likely) this comes out to about 6 bucks (plus the .02 per day for DNS). And what ever money we put int he account gets carried over to the next month/pay period. So we could make 50$ish last a long damn time.

Our transfers would prolly be higher as more regular visits and updates..
if nothing else we move. we try it. If we dont like it or for some other resason decide to abaondon it we can always come back here.
