Fall in full swing.

The colors, the smells, the feel. It is so Autumn here. I'm semi actively tring to take pictures that capture fall... I may go work on that today actualy. I got a few good ones from when i was in photogrpahy class that i should think about getting scanned. Maybe i will do that at work sometime.

I really need to get on the ball about some pages. Its just ive been semi busy, and un modivated to make them. I don't totaly know how i want them to look so its not as easy to do. oh well.

I should also think about cleanin my room up...

8:41pm: Cleaned up a tiny bit. not much. Took a walk and realized i really wish i had someone special (nearby) to go on walks with...

Got 2 new CDs Radio Head's Pablo Honey and Ok GO's self titled release... And took a couple pics too but they are not up yet.

Came up with more reasons to switch 1) Music play and managemnt 2) Picture managment, editing, etc. 3) Stable OS X baby, not that i manage to crash my windows 2k instalations often (usualy games do it..) 4) speed. the whole arcihtexture is suppior to a PCs. It cost more but you get more done per clock cycle.... Which remindes me of when we had a 200ish Mhz mac and OS9 (i think it was 9) kicking 400Mhz K63 and 700+Atholon ass for Seti@home stuff....

I love photography. It's my favorite hobby. I take so many pictures that i never have enough money to get them developed. Right now I have 12 rolls of film waiting to be developed.

The thing with hobbys is they tend to hog extra time and money... but the results and outcomes of the hobbys can be well worth it. To see something come together our turn out. Junknstuff.net started as sort of a hobby and just cause i wanted to work on my html and give me an excuse and modivation to learn stuff.

Photography is pretty fun. I got a couple rolls that need to be developed from a few months back (if i can even find them now). But I take 95+% or so of my Pictures with my digital camera so that saves me quite a bit. but it cost a ton all at once.

I love taking pictures, but I'm really anal retentive as to how they turn out. I have to get this light, that color, etc. I wish I was my friend Seth, sometimes. He's a badass with a camera. He took a picture while we were in Monterey... He was on the east-facing balcony while the sun was setting, so you can see the sunset on the water and warm colors reflecting on the sky and mountains. Nightlights were coming on in the hills, and it was like lazy stars. There was a double rainbow in the sky, and that reflected off the water in a perfect circle. Shad and Doloresse and I were tossing bread to the seagulls. You could see a few seagulls about fifteen feet away, and one gull frozen in a perfect holding pattern pose. I want an enlargement. It was perfect and it makes me remember everything I love about Monterey, which is everything. And everyone. I wish I had someone special (nearby) to show around Monterey. And Carmel. And Casa de Frutta. Actually, I can't go to Casa de Frutta in good conscience without the good ship Shadowmuffin.
