Had a dream that i got married spur of the moment to a old best friend from middle/highschool. Its been at least a year since I've even seen Kitri and then we only talked for a few moments. We were really close our 8th grade year and 9th and started to drift apart in prolly 10th grade. But we could always pick up and just start talkin about whatever. We had a pact at some point that once we reached 28 and that if we were still in contact and good terms close etc.. that wed get married if neather of us already had by that point or didnt look like we were... I don't really think the pact stands anymore as we have pretty much lost contact with eachother. nonetheless it was a strange dream.
Baby sat the 11 computers and 3 people last night for work. fun stuff i tell you. I didn't happen to have eather of my new books along or my laptop as i was droped off by chris who picked me up hours later but then went on a call that ran longer than he expected. That kid can not gussitmate time for a damn. hell its rare that hes actualy on time. He has time related issues. Its quite anoying sometimes.
Seems like it should be past tuesday.
8:40am: Three words. Wake On Lan. It is soo damn cool. Standing in a room full of computers that are off one moment then another all clicking in unison as they power up and start humming away. With out being touched. From silence to 17 computers beeping and humming and their floppy drive sounds all at once or near at once. Pretty fun. Its times like this i love my job.
4:30pm: Bought a couple books in Portland at Powells books. I got William Gibsons collection of short stories Burning Chrome Gibson is pretty much the only author I read. Sparks my interest better than anyother so far. I also got Einsteins Dreams but havn't had much of a chance to read it as I have been reading Gibsons short stories.
8:49pm: thinking about talkin to Chris about getting a larger Drive for SallyShears so she can do MollyMillions' Job cause a 300Mhz Laptop just isnt seeming to quite cut it these days. and I could be experimieting with cool shit with molly and Sally is much better suited for the job. bigger faster stronger and nearly as quite.... but i'd lose Sally as a gameserver and her portabliity would be shot.... hmmm...
