Success with DAV.

So I tell chris about DAV and he asks why I haven't got it setup/working yet cause it sounds cool. Only he didnt use so many words. It was more why don't you have it working yet... But this was after i explaned to him what it was and did. I had been tring with Redhat 7.3 and Apache1.3.2x and getting no place fast. I knew Apache 2.0 had dav built in and that it has been much more integrated to Apache and Redhat 8.0 happens to ship with Apache 2.0 so i boot my laptop to RH 8 while at chris' place last night and after just playing around and looking at the differnt config stlye of Apache 2.0 I went to work. It took less than 5 min of actual work or thinking (had to read some documention from Apache's site) and I had it working after the 1st try. I tried and tried with 1.3.2x but got no place and 2.0 sooo easy.

Now to upgrade molly and honey to RH 8? Honey will most likely be 1st cause we are going to be increasing her capacity again here pretty soon. And that could be a good time to upgrade the OS as well... Molly has just been a happy little camper for the past 6ish months. Andnow that I have started doing DB and PHP stuff. It makes me slightly hesitant. I hear apache 2.0 can be flaky with PHP. Molly here has the list of movies and stuff that I've seen in a Database that a section of php embeded in this very page goes out and asks for what movies ive seen in December. Then molly says these movies and then they are displayed. I think its pretty damn cool. I also got another PHP/MySQL page that I hope to bring up sometime soon.

Why did none of you finish my fill in the blank yesterday? It was prolly the most interesting statement i had heard all day. At least the strangest to me anyways.

Concert tomorrow night. Woohoo.
