Today we have another birthday to mention, celebrate, etc... Kala is 20. However I don't think I'd wish to be 20 again. Or 19 for that matter. I wouldn't mind them again but they are nothing too great, and by no means mile stones. Except that you go from teen to non-teen. But are still an adollecent until you reach 22 so it really doesnt matter much. But Happy Birthday Kala.
Got an e-mail from my sister who is someplace over on the east coast as a camp counsoler. I really didnt care if i heard from her or not while she was gone. But the 1st paragraph is pleeding with me to pass the e-mail onto mom one way or another, as my mom has yet to figure the whole online/internet/digital thing out, she sometimes has trouble with the TV, and we wont mention the cell phones.
Why oh why is it only Wednesday? Seems like it should be Thrusday or Friday, definatly not Wednesday. I suppose its all down hill from here.
Posted by Ben at June 25, 2003 09:29 AMHey! I happen to think that my 19th year was one of the best years ever, not to mention the fact that nineteen is my lucky number! But, to each his own, of course. 20 seems to be starting out real nice. Chris called me from Europe and sang "Yellow Submarine" at the top of his lungs, just to make me smile. I've received birthday messages from Kritanya, Brian, my little cousin Ryan, and my parents. I also got a birthday Tigger from my friend Matthew Drumheller, a birthday pick-up-and-spin from Nick, and I heard Jimmy Eat World on MTV or VH1 or one of those music stations this morning. Yay!
Thanks, Ben. Thanks a billion.
Well Kala now you can add me to your list, Happy Birthday...I cant really do anything Fancy for you seeing this is my only way of communication, but still. Try to get lots of free stuff it is your birthday after all :-D
Ben Good Job on the links, I enjoy them.
Posted by: Collyn on June 26, 2003 08:46 AMThanks. I had so much fun!!! First of all, my three friends in English class took turns distracting me as they signed my card, then my bestest friend Nick bought me flowers, then I got to leave work early, then my bestest Tim took me for a yummy dinner, then he and Ernesto and Nick and Phil kidnapped me for yummy cake and good times. Yeah, buddy! Today, I get presents from my mom. Tomorrow, dinner at the Old Firehouse (can I get a hell, yeah?!), and soon my dad's taking me for an all-day trip to San Francisco and to Sears Point so I can drag race cop cars in my racecar! YEAH, BUDDY!
Posted by: Kala on June 26, 2003 10:14 AMoh fun, I should come hang out with you on my next birthday then it bound to be good :-D
Posted by: Collyn on June 26, 2003 01:45 PMHeck, Collyn, pick a date, grab the boys (Ben, Whitey, John, and whoever else) and we'll all go skydiving or kayaking or something. My friends down here are getting sick of me forcing them to have a good time. Imagine, they didn't like the idea of playing volleyball at the Capitol Park on my bday! (The governor's officials weren't too pleased, either... Go fig.)
Oh, and you looked like an angel in those pictures. Seriously lovely.
Posted by: Kala on June 26, 2003 11:14 PMThank you :-D my friends start to do that to, they get kind of frumpy and just want to sit around. Maybe one of these days we can fianlly figure something out, skydiving would be fun, my mom says I am not allowed to tell her I did it untill after the fact.
