Has anyone ever used Kazza, Morpheous, iMesh or other P2P (peer to peer). Has anyone ever let someone download a file or song from you on such a network? Has anoyone downloaded a song from soneone else on such a network? According to a new bill introduced to congress yesterday. If it passes if you upload another file to such a network or system it will cost you $250,000 and 5 years of your life in prison or jail. Thats right filesharing as a felony if this law (pdf) passes. You can thank Senitors(i think thats what they are) Berman and Conyers. Both of them get half or more than half of their campaign money from the Music and Movie industrys. This kind of crap really bugs me. I really hope this bill stays just a bill and doenst become a law.
