Games On until DSL

Yesterday was long. Today maybe longer from the sheartiredness I am feeling from not sleeping so well last night cause of the caffine that again kept me from sleeping as well as I should/could have. Today I may start on my newish server maybe I will do that tomorrow instead. Saw Chris and his cute cute little Samantha, his kitten that Tifany and I picked out for him a while back...

Chris and I finaly got to go to Mabibu Grand Prix in Beaverton and hall ass in some go carts around a windy track at decently high speeds for gocarts and being only a few inches off the ground. Tiffany Claims I did one of our laps in 56.something seconds which was some of the lower times there that night. Whee.

DSL update: grrrrrrr.

I got some new games from chris to work on until my DSL does show up so I'm gonna go do that now.

The absolute worst part about games is that when you beat them, they loose about half of their fun factor. Unless you don't play it for a really long time and then play it again it almost sucks.

I played warcraft I, II and the II expansion until they could not be played anymore. I beat them all and then I became extreamly bored with all of them.

And this is exactly why they keep making new games and more games. And Sequles like doom 3, Warcraft 3 (Bye the bye blizzard may take forever but they do it right the 1st time evertime, then they improve upon it), and Halflife 2, and the mario brothers series...

I'm still hooked on the Civilization series. Nothing beats taking over the world, especially if you've got the Imperial March theme from Star Wars playing in the background. Then you feel like an evil god. Of course, Civ III is much harder to beat, because they make war alot more difficult to wage and maintain. I miss the good old days of going over and laying the smackdown on your bastard neighbor.

Ben, are you going to put up any pictures of you and Whitey go-carting on your photo server, whenever it gets all set up again? I'd love to see 'em.

I was too busy driving to take pictures. tiffany was too busy hanging on to take any. Not to mention the whole event stired her tummy up a bit.... It really only lasted 10 min or so tops in the carts...

Sorry that are no pics though. maybe next time...

Ern booked plane tickets and a hotel in Portland for us and Tim to come up on the 14th, 15th, and 16th of November. He's the main man on this one, so I can't be hampered by outward circimstances. I'll take some pictures of it, if you want to do it again when we come up. The thought of Ern in one of those things... *shudder*.

I'm suprised you don't shutter or hide from the thought of me in one of those. I'm sure chris has told you of my driving...

I've heard the stories. But I've actually driven with Ern.
