Send(ing)mail.

Messing around with Sendmail some. I think I need to fix my DNS or trick it somehow. Or just forget about hosting my own mail server at home. Which could prove to be probelemmatic because of all the DNS RBLS and stuff like that out there. I may set up fetch mail to get my real mail and use the imap... I like imap.

today was too long. At one point I showed Adam a favorite tool of mine (winscp). Later in the day I realized I showed him that earlier in the day, I asked if he could belive it was today he stopped and pondered it for a moment. He realized it felt like yesterday or last week.

The training bandits strike again. I was offered more training. For next week. I have had Monday, the 31st, schedulded off for around a month now. So I may miss out on more training because of this or they may let me slide again and let me train on the product. Apparently it's just network stuff I will be missing which hopefuly I'm already solid enough on to not have it be a problem. This is the 3rd time in a row they have done this to me... Ben has time off? Great lets give him training!!!!

Nope. Not delivering mail in or out bound.
my header shows localhost.localdomain I think i need to futz more with network settings to fix that.

right now I've disabled the port fowarding as to not leave things open in a misconfigured state to allow spam and junk or the remote possiblty of being an open relay...

Hell, that's easy to fix.
Consign Sendmail back to the depths of hell from which it emerged and install Exim or Postfix or Qmail.

heh.
