My camera is on loan for a few days to a friend of mine who needs it for an upcoming event. The door to the house was forced open with a crow bar around 1pm and her cameras were stolen and some other things as well.

I was surprised to hear such a thing happening in that area, as it is isn't exactly in the city. But I suppose places with neighbors that are far apart could be just as good a target as anyplace else if not better in some cases because of the extra privacy.

Even though I go several days at a time with out using my camera, it will be a bit strange to be with out it for a few days. Just not having it available and ready to go is a bit strange... But it is more needed elsewhere right now...
