I pre-ordered William Gibson's next book, Spook Country today. So I'll be reading a proper book again within a few weeks time.

Gibson is one of the very few authors that manages to grab me and get me into the story enough to actually read. I've tried others but often just find my self looking at the words. Then later when I'm actually reading the book I realize I missed something. So I go back a little ways and see if I can figure it out which usually means me having to go back further and further until I find about where I stopped reading and started looking at words. This tends to be somewhat frustrating.
