Lane Memorial Blood Bank

I try to donate every time they are here, I make sure to have some protein in my breakfast and all that. Generally I'm pretty healthy, very rarely take any thing like Advil or aspirin. But today I was rejected.

Apparently my Hemoglobin levels were too high today, 18.8. The need them to be 18 or lower. Its likely just caused by being a bit dehydrated. They differed me from donating until tomorrow, which means I won't be donating as I've got enough going on tomorrow and the rest of the week to keep me from getting in to donate.

I'm wasn't surprised to learn I'm a bit dehydrated. I haven't been drinking as much fluids and water in general as I have been known too in the past. I have been feeling a bit dehydrated while on my runs as well. Not to mention some of the other secondary indicators indicating dehydration... I will start today on being more properly hydrated.
