I got to take Kala this year to Oktoberfest, something I've wanted to do for at least a couple years now.
We ate Apple Fritters, Cherry Funnel cakes, Sausages, some Russian Ravioli, and drank a bunch. We prosted and chicken danced and swayed to the bands and marveled at the feats of some of the bands. We watched people hold beer steins out in front of them until there was only one left.
All and all a pretty damn good time. We both were a bit hung over the morning after but nothing too bad.
Posted by Ben at September 22, 2009 07:40 AMYou missed two very important details.
1) You ate fritter. Off of my purse.
2) YOU danced the chicken dance. In front of people.
I love you.

Posted by: Kevin on September 23, 2009 05:06 AMGood God, Kevin. Well, hopefully that's over.
Please give me leave to go be insanely jealous now, per The Princess's dictates. :)
I had just been dragged out of bed (5:50AM) by the puppy and had kind of woken up standing on the deck after letting her out for some air. Couldn't get back to sleep so I looked at my email, saw a message and got slapped in the face.
Nice wake-up.
However, she has done this before and I have more patience than class. ;)
