I fear tomorrow. Tiffanys party thing a house full of estrogen. So I may go hang with rob or just hide in here working on new pages and sites and email serving etc... I've started to see if can get that worked out so I can host a mail server of my own which could be kinda cool. A bit unessary but none the less fun.

Tomorrow is halloween. The next day is Tiffanys home and garden party. I plan on hanging out in the den the whole time as I dont feel like going to Fry's alone just to return Tiffanys busted box.

Hung out with Rob after work today and watched Bill and Teds Exceletn Adventrue. That was cool. Most of the day was decently cool. No big issues.

I've already started getting spam at my new domain which isn't even live yet... maddening I tell you.

Damn. I lost or it lost I'm not sure which cause the damn thing is broken. Should have returned it in the 1st place. But a 2 hour drive to take something back isn't exactly a fun idea, so naturaly it gets avoided when possible. Turns out that it isn't quite possible this time. Which is unfourtnate and annoying cause now saturday I must fly well drive solo up to Fry's in Wilsonvil and get the damn thing exchanged/refunded well something done with it.

I took 30+ calls at work today. Easy stuff all day. It kinda sucked. One after another after another...

There is a lamp over there in the corner and its has one of those converter thingys on it that make it a touch lamp. Its been turning off and to full brightness and everything inbetween. It's kinda strange...

I get off work to come home and fight more machines for other people. Namely Tiffany and her new computer. But I belive that I'm winning now as I've made quite a bit of progess towards getting it all setup and worked out... gonna have to wait and see or just keep tring until I get it and win.

Tomorrow is only Wednesday. That kinda sucks. But I can live.

I've bought my new domain and Just haven't populated it with anything yet so I'm not going to be posting any links or info on it until then. or perhaps I should so you can help me decide what kind of things to put there....

Tiffany got her self a new computer lastnight/yesterday. Once she is done with it, it will kick the crap out of mine as far as speed and ram goes. shes got some features I don't have and I've got some she doesn't have but we are both now proud owner of little computers. She nearly wasn't because of a short in the powerswitch which caused it to act quite possesed. It would go on by it self then off. Then on the off, then on then off.... well you get the idea. Anyways I figured that out last night and did a quick rewire for her and moved her reset switch to be the new power swtich and disconnected the old powerswitch and moved it to the reset place. As she really didn't want to go althey way up to frys again come the weekend which will be busy enough as is. And a midweek trip isn't really an option because she doesn't get off work until 8pm. But its working now. Just needs its OS and such.

Tiffany's new domain is now officaly in the works of being built up. Hosted on the server I made or rather setup yesterday. right now there is nothing there but Testing in big letters but it is there. It took me most of the afternoon to figure out how to get apache to do virutal domains. But its doing them now. woohoo. Once I figure out what domain I want to buy next I will have a new play place and set honey up with a sub.domain so that will be cool...

Changed the clocks. Got my self some waffels and a thing of spice cider. I love that stuff. And got my new server nearly up and going the install is finishing up as I type. Woohoo. I had to fight with it for far too long last night. But I had to download a 600+ Meg file to complete the process so last night I didn't win but by this morning it didn't stand a chance. So now its all down to configuration of everything which could take a while.

Tomorrow i start work at 6am again. I will still be getting my overtime as it will be manditory this week and possibly though the next few weeks. Which still means extra money wich is good because well I just got my 1st dsl bill and it was higher than any of my previous phone bills and if you know me well enough to know what my high phone bills are you know its a lot. Fourtunatly its mostly just one time charges and some of it should be reabted at somepoint.

I'm gonna go see if can figure out how to configure this new server... Look for it soon online.

I've nearly have how I'm gonna set things up for bringing the new server online. It is now mostly coming down to pain in the ass that it will be to do it and hook it up. Which will mean pulling my desk off the wall again and rewiring it all again perhaps better than last time. I still have to figure out a few little details like e-mail server for the new domains. I still havent decided on one but hey thats ok I will soon.

I am goin out to Tiffanys parents for the day today but thats not that big of a deal. It will give me some more time to let things roll around in this head of mine. Then come home this evening and spend way too much time working on them...

I will most likely post my new domain here soon after i get it and get it online.

Also I've been getting more and more spam lately. Some of it has Kala's name on it now and even one with Sighs name on it now too. I am very close to droping my junknstuff email address...

I've got a slightl delema. I can't decide what damn domain name I want to buy next. I want a new one and can get one and host for next to nothing because of a great new place I found and my wonderful ISP allowing me to host such things on my own. Tiffany bought a domain lastnight and now I have to get something up so that she can have a place to put the stuff. So perhaps this weekend I will end up doing something about it all. Perhaps not though.

Junknstuff.net has been pushing more and more data lately. Even a few people linking to me now. Most of the traffic is to the quotes section still but they are starting to look around at other parts of the site. If any of you want to contribute or make a misc. type page of your own feel free too let me know and I will see what I can do about posting it for you. All that I ask is that it look like the rest of the site. Which would be failry easy to just with some copy and pasting...

tomorrow may end up being a day out at tiffany's parents place for the day. But maybe not. I've got reason to not go and tiffany uderstands me not wanting to go but I havent decided yet. It would be a whole family gathering at her parents place with all sorts of crazyness and people around only a few of wich i actualy know or could tell you the names of. I could just spend the day workin on stuff here in computery land no problem. It would prolly be much more relaxing that a day of strangers and bordom...

Friday is only a night away. For somereaon I can see a some office people singing that ALA Little Orphan Anne style.

And thank god it is only a day away. Damn calls have just been getting stranger and longer all week long. Half the people don't even need computers. Half of them need help to turn the fuckin things on. WHY! WHY! the fuck do these people even have computers. because their kid needs it? or cause theird kid told them about email or some shit. I don't think people should get computers unless they can pass a test or pay to have someone arround all the time to do it all for them. When you have people who don't know what it means to get on the internet but they have the internet you have a problem. When you get people who try to put antivirus on webtv you have a problem. You think I'm making these up don't you. I seriously wish i was.

Tomorrow is friday. WHich means payday. Which means weekend. Which means relaxation. Not that I don't relax once I get home. I will just be able to relax longer.

Over halfway done. November 15th Chris, Tiffany and I will seeing Lewis Black and Dave Atel at the Crystal Ball Room in Portland. These two are fairly easy to find on comedy central. Lewis Black sometimes has a segment on the Daily Show and Dave Atel has his own damn show called insomniac. I'm gonig for Lewis. He is an angry man with a dry sence of humor but its damn funny, and usualy right or at least I think so. Looking foward to that.

Another long day with a call that was in excess of 100 Minuets. That blew. And we wen't able to fix it. Stupid windows ME and stupid people... Grrr. oh well not my system.

Chris will be back either tonight or tomorrow sometime for another night or 2. So that should make the week a bit more interesting as usual.

I actually managed to read a book in 3 days. Granted it was short but it was good and i liked it. Go figure it was an essay. I think that anyone who uses a computer for more than 10 min a day should read In the Begginng... Was The Command Line. good stuff. Perhaps I will get around to reading some of his stuff soon.

Damn was I off my game today at work. All my calls way to long and i left my self in wrapup for a halfhour or so of lunch. which is a big booboo. I fuckin hat mondays. Also got an hour of overtime which isn't really a bad thing but not much fun either. So glad to be home so I can have a beer and relax.

Its getting darker ealier and the smell of autum is in the air. I kinda dig it except my exposure to day light is begginging to be what I can manage to get at lunch time.

Got my self a smallish book yesterday at powel. I happen to be struggeling with another book of his as well. Stuggeling to get past the 1st few chapters as I am having trouble getting into it. But mean while I get this essay style book from the same damn author and can't put it down. I'm beilving that it has something todo with fact and opininion vs fiction. And the content

Tomorrow is work again. But this week is from 8-5 wich still means I'm closing. But also means more overtime money. Which is always good. As it will help me afford new toys and pay bills.

Heading to Salem for the after noon to vist with my family type people and then to corvaillis for the evening to vist with Tiffany's friendly like people who just moved there.

Yesterday I kinda started the ground work for the new photo page. But I'm not having trouble deciding if I like the ground work that I've aready done or if I can do it better. I will most likely spend most of the driving portion of today thinking about the very delema and perhaps an answer by tonight or tomrrow and then work on it after that point. I just rembered to add the ratings and comment tables and fields to the DB so the people can comment and add ratings to the photos...

I think I need a new pair of shoes mine a about a year old now and have been worn virtualy if not every day sinice I got them.

I'm gonna go make some eggo waffels and have breakfast.

Last night in the middle of the night when I should have been sleeping but wasn't because my brain likes to do that too me. I decided that I am going to take the phot server out of the picture for now. I will post a few of my favorites on the site and that will be it for a while. Perhaps I will make a newer better photo gallery that is searchable, commentable, rateable, and manageable, maybe even contribuatable.... But then again maybe not. But I've got nearly 2000 photos on there and well its been getting more and more difficult to manage all of them, in a good presentable manner.... The photo server will be coming down sometime after I get off work. So it will be up for serval more hours yet.

Today is Friday. YAY!

Tomorrow it sounds like we are going to tour the vally again. Up to salem or Portland and vist either my parents in salem or Chris in Portland. And then back down and vist Tiffany's friends in Corvallis....

5:27. Right now I should be at work. Closing out the phone queue. I'm not though. Becuase around 4:15pm phones wen't black all at once. Which means somewhere around 20-40 customers who were on hold got disconnected and whoever was acutually on the phones got droped like a bad habbit as well. They sent us home because the phone switch won't be turned back on until monday. or something like that. So now I'm home.

Preparing for redeplotation of a old friend. Thats right Mollymillions is going to be making a triumphant return to the photohosting world. Why you ask? because I'm oh so lazy. I'm too lazy to crawl around and hook up my faster better machine to do it. Molly just works and works damn near everytime on the 1st try. The other system failed on the 1st try well more like 1.5 cause I did some other stuff before I could get the OS on her. But the installation of the OS messed up so I unhooked it and put it away and started setting Molly back up. She is nearly ready to go and should good to go soon here. Just transfering all the images. Then I reconfigure the network for her and then she goes live. and should hopefuly be quicker than the current server that seems to not like how things are setup. But I am looking into that.... And I will get the good one back online sometime too.

Tomorrow is friday. Friday's are good. New Penny Arcade comic comes out, pay day, the begining of weekend, binge drinking, sleeping in, and weekend....

Chris will be in town next week for part of it. Perhaps I will make him help me get my other server up in some sort of state of usablity.

I've been playin with webmin lately. It seems very cool and powerful. I recommened it...

I think the computer room here is heating the whole house as we havent yet turned on our heat and the whole place is hanging right around 70 degrees and it hasn't been all that warm out. Perhaps we won't have to use the heat and we just leave the computers on to heat the place...

I think Ive got to redo a my picture server or something. Cuase what I load the photos from work it loads slow as all hell. but from here fine. When I load the email from it at work it works fine. Perhaps a configuation problem. Perhaps some other anomoly. Perhaps I will put it on its own IP address or put another system on its OWN IP address and see how it does then... Its not like i don't have enough other stuff to try or hook up or play with. But most of the problem is modivation. after being at work for 9 + damn hours coming home and crawling around on the floor and moving shit around to hook, unhook, and rehook cables up and playing with configuaration until the cows come home doesn't sound exactly appealing. Half the time posting doesn't sound very appealing... But I got nothin else todo other than those other things and posting is the easier of the bunch....

Getting more evil spam from Amsterdamn. So I've blocked another range of IP addresses from being able to post comments. I'd hate to turn the comments off cause I like them so much when they happen which is sometimes very rare.

I think I've got an idea for a project for honey... maybe or at least another application to install. As if any of this makes a diffrence to anyone who reads this page. As I and maybe chris will be the onlyone's that have anything to do with it....

I've started collecting more cartoons from the internet. Some good stuff. Some great stuff.

Got some more setting up of my system todo yet such as news groups tosetup my news-groups. So I can get some more tunes and such for Honey who has grown to a lot of damn mp3s.

It is most defitantly fall out. Kinda nice. Getting cooler and cooler out side. So more and more time spent inside and prolly more time spent here online working on the site and such.

I thought I posted yesterday but i guess I didn't... But I've got some good news. 1) DSL is up and going. The photo server is up and running again. 2) I got a new Clie, a tg-50. Its fun so far.... Perhaps a overview/review in the tech section later on....

I've also again managed to dirty up the Den/Office/Computer room and have to clean it up again. Which is a pain but I guess its ok. Cause its mine and I spend a bit of time in here and make some of the mess. Not that I don't have any help making the mess.

It's happened. The spam bastards have made programs that go post on sites with links and such to porn. I'm blocking them from posting the best I can by banning them from posting and such. The downside is that anyone who happens to share an ISP with these bastards won't be able to post. So far I don't think It will be much of a problem as its been amsterdamn and someother ISP in washinton. I may give the other authors permissions to do the same for their sites and massconfustion to help with the problem... I dunno yet.... Also I am thinking about chaing my e-mail address because of the ammount of spam ive been getting lately....

3time is a charm. and Persistants pays off. I have called my ISP the last 3 nights in a row after work and started asking questions about when I will get my damn service. So today I get intouch with someone with a bit of power. I will get a bit of discount on the install and his direct contact information. So woohoo. And hopefuly it will be monday that i get my damn broad band.

anyways my schedule at work is now even later than before. The only advantage is I may end up getting off work closer to ontime vs today where I was there until 6.... so it would only be a half hour of over time rather than the 45 min it was today....

I'm still dialing up to post. Because of network issues between NewEdge Networks and Speakeasy. But their network enginering departments are working on it. They say by tomorrow, we will just have to wait and see.

Collyn commented and said do I worry about getting caught up in things that don't matter, like DSL. I will admit I've been pretty one track about the DSL thing but you go years with out even hearing the damn modem dial up and go to fast internet then go back. what if someone took your current car and gave you oh say um a Yogo running on 1 cyelnder(spelling is wrong i know)... Not to mention I have nothing else to talk about....

Oh wait. My camera is in the shop because Tiffany droped it.... It should be back in 2-4 weeks. They prolly ment 4-6 months but hey thats ok. Also the guy at Good guys asked tiffany how to get in touch with me to help him pick out a laptop, thats kinda cool.

For some reason I'm unable to get online with my computer though tiffany's laptop anymore. :(

Tomorrow this time I will be monkeying with cables cords and configurations to get the DSL hookered all up and going. Needless to say the photo server will be back soon after as well as the people page... Perhaps even more....

Another 45 min of over time at work today... Seriously that needs to stop becuase I don't like getting home after 6 pm.... grr...

Chris will be staying with us tomorrow and the remainder of the work week and potentialy friday night aswell. He will also be down on other vaious days over the next couple weeks for work stuff. So that should be cool to have that punk ass around for a while again.

Mondays have again proven to be evil and long. But it is nearing an end which is good. I'm glad it only happens once a week. I wish it was just once a month but alas I'm not that lucky.

Its drizeling out and its quite pretty. There are street lights outside the winows that face a parking lot and they are lit and you can just see the rain under and near them and dripping off of them. Its kinda nice.

I'm sure I dont need to remind anyone of the DSL showing up in less than 72 hours now.. So I won't say anymore until i get my sweet sweet broad band.

I've been spending most of the day in the den/computer room/office mostly working on my damn desk. and rewring stuff in preperation for the DSL. The wire mess is mostly gone thanks to some velcrow wireties.... I also put the new switch in and played some Return To Castel Wolfenstein.

I got my 2nd monitor for my computer yesterday. Well actualy Friday but that one was fuzzy so we returned it and got another yesterday so now I have about a bazzilon pixels of fun on my desktop all for gaming, editing, email, websurfing, movie watching, movie making, picture viewing, and more... I'm thinking about buying a KVM switch to hook up one of the monitors and my current keyboard and mouse to other systems that I have that will be doing webserving once the DSL arvies... which is in less that 96 hours now.

DSL here on wednesday the 8th between 12 and 2. WOOOFUCKINGHOOO. The only problem is someone has to be here to let the installers come in and do their pro style job on the dealy. Why I'm not exactly sure when even the installer comapy offerd me a self install kit.... oh well. I'm initaly paying out the damn nose for this DSL service. But I'm hoping my 3 readers will help make it worth it one way or another. Or perhaps I will find a way to make it worth it on my own...

One of these days I'm going to have to get off my ass and do a bunch more of the computer stuff that I've been meaning todo for a while now and some that is newer stuff that i need to do. Like hook up printers and setup them up, hook up switches and run cords from here to there. Perhaps this weekend as preperation for the DSL!!! But then again maybe not cause tomorrow is laundry day and that means the day is spent out a Tiffany's parents house. They will have a new pool table though so time will pass a bit quicker now.

Tonight I am gonna be seeing Finding Nemo at the Cheapseats with Tiffany and one of her friends. The cheap seats are great $1.50 for a movie. Good stuff....

I think I'm gonna go buy something that I prolly shouldn't....

My DSL is so close to being installed I can almost taste it. All that I need now is the damn damn modem. Sooon now sooon.

Chris' is here workin and hanging out until sometime saturday. Which could be interesting. But he did bring a gift of a lazer printer.

Work was ok today. I had a drunk guy on the phone, that was funny. Had lunch with tiffany today that was cool.
